Unrelated story: before I realized I was queer, I had some friends try to set me up with a cute gayboy (i was male at the time) who I had yet to process I had a crush on. I awkwardly told him i wasn't gay (he didn't ask) and then basically immediately attended the only community theater I'd ever seen - a production of Cat on Hot Tin Roof featuring him. I sat there in the nearly empty audience, less than a week after I told him I wasn't into him (he didn't ask). It's only writing this that i realize how desperately i was hoping he'd notice me. Man. He was really cute, actually. Man that was ten years ago. How tragic. Oh yeah, Cat on a hot tin roof was good. He acted well.
